Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

Happy New Year’s Eve!  I really cannot believe how fast 2013 flew by. Seriously, where does time go?? If you’re looking for an appetizer for tonight, here is a really easy and tasty one.  Hope everyone has a SAFE and fun night!

What you’ll need:

4 oz. cream cheese

1/2 cup of your favorite cheese (I had mexican blend on hand so that’s what I used.  Sharp cheddar would be good too!)

12 slices bacon

12 jalapeños

Salt & Pepper to taste

What you’ll do:

Turn grill to 400 degrees F.

Cut tops off jalapeños, cut in half lengthwise, and remove seeds.

Mix cream cheese, cheese, salt, and pepper together until blended.

Fill Jalapeño halves and replace tops.

Wrap with bacon and cook for 20 minutes, flipping half way through.

** I suggest wearing gloves when handling the jalapeños**

Thanks, love! They are really good… and so cheesy! Dakota got me a new lens for Christmas and it’s so much easier to take better pics! I just keep practicing hoping to get better each time. Still have a lot to learn 🙂
