Crockpot Applesauce

I’m back again, and bringing you one of my favorite crockpot recipes. It’s another 3 ingredient recipe that is perfect for potlucks, holiday dinners, or just because you deserve something delicious. It’s super easy, cheap, and can be prepared at home and transported in your crockpot to cook anywhere that you please. My crockpot applesauce tastes amazing warm, and is a great late night dessert.


8-10 large apples (enough to fill your crockpot)

1/4 cup of sugar

Cinnamon (to taste)

Optional Tools: Apple Slicer *Highly recommend*

edit1Start by slicing you apples, and then peel them using a sharp knife. Please do not cut off any fingers, it will ruin the applesauce. Continue this until your crockpot is full.


Sprinkle your sugar and cinnamon over your apples. I used 1/4 cup of sugar, and enough cinnamon to cover my apples. Turn your crockpot to high, cover with lid, and allow to cook for 5 hours. You don’t need to do anything now (not even stir, unless your impatient) except wait.

edit3Halfway through cooking my apples looked like this. I’m impatient, so I stirred them. Re-cover and allow to finish cooking. Your house/office should smell AMAZING by this point.

edit4After 5 hours, stir your apples (which will turn into applesauce before your eyes) and enjoy. You will be tempted to inhale this, but I am cautioning you, go slowly. Those apples are now a lava of deliciousness.
